Transition Services
New Horizon School and Learning Center provides transition services and consultation with the goal of preparing elementary students to enter middle school, middle school students to enter high school, and high school students for college or other post-secondary training.
Some transitions involve securing mastery of skills and enhancing learning strategies. With older students, transition may also involve career exploration, developing independent living skills, learning to navigate the employment process, and developing a plan for the future.
